VARICOSE VEINS
Varicose veins are a result of constant dilatation of superficial or deep veins localized in various parts of the body. Varicose veins formed on the lower limbs have a genetic or hormonal background; they commonly occur in pregnant women, in persons who, by virtue of their occupation, stand for a long time, in obese people and patients with heart insufficiency. Veins have valves that allow the venous blood to flow only in one direction. If these valves are deteriorated, the blood flows in both directions, causing the leg to swell and become heavy, associated with a sensation of itching.
Vitamin C and E have a vasoprotective action. To prevent and treat varicose veins, it is recommended to take BIOSPECTRUM OMEGA revitalizing drops (vitamin C and essential microelements) – 20 drops twice a day; and EVENING PRIMROSE – one capsule three times a day for their content of vitamin E and Evening Primrose oil.
